View Pending Career Path Jobs

Employees can view their own pending career path jobs on the My Career Path screen. Managers can view their direct reports' pending career path jobs by clicking the button on a direct report's Career Path screen. If your firm uses the Continuous Feedback feature and has enabled the Career Path tab, employees and managers can also access this screen from a Continuous Feedback session.

As an employee, to view your own pending career path jobs:

  1. Click Career Center > Career Development > Career Paths.
  2. On the My Career Path screen, click the Actions menu and select View Pending Career Path Jobs.

As a manager, to view an employee's pending career path jobs:

  1. Click My Employees > My Employees.
  2. Click the link for the Career Path you want to view in the Career Path column.
  3. Click the View Pending Career Path Jobs button.
    Pending jobs display in the table. To add the job to the Career Path, check the box next to the position. Enter information in the following fields:
    • Relative Sequence
    • # Months in Position: This number determines when the employee earns the Skills and Competencies associated with the position
    • Purpose: the reason for the position change (For example, Rotation, Promotion, Training, Transfer)

    When done, click Add All Selected.

    Managers also have access to these Actions when viewing pending career path jobs:
    • Gaps : Click to analyze gaps in skills and Competencies required for the job., rejecting the requested position, and marking the job as the final step on the selected Career Path.
    • Reject Reject: Click to reject the requested position.
    • Gaps Mark as Ultimate Position in Career Path: Click to mark the job as the final step on the selected Career Path.
